White Christmas?

Are you dreaming of a White Christmas? If your congregation is relying on a big haul from the Christmas Eve collection plate, you may not be so jazzed about the possibility. A light sprinkling? Nothing beats it. Two feet? Not so much.

The National Climactic Data Center (NCDC) has released a list of percentage possibilities of a White Christmas by state. You can read it here. Only a 23% chance of a White Christmas in Boston (I somehow thought it would be higher). 87% chance in Concord, New Hampshire while only a 3% chance in Huntsville, Alabama — though that seems surprisingly high.

Anyway, check it out and know that Clergy Family Confidential is your number one source for breaking weather news and school closings.
